Camping
convenience
Bear Creek offers over 160 campsites in 5 campgrounds
on more than 15,000 acres of land maintained by the
Bear Creek Development Authority (BCDA). Most of these
campsites offer electrical hookup and water outlets
as well as campfire areas or cooking grills. All sites
also have picnic tables for increased convenience.
Full details available in our information
section.
Each site allows reasonable access to one of the many
lakes in the watershed.

Minimal
traffic
The camping areas are all family oriented, and isolated
from main traffic areas. Most of the sites are located
in "loops", helping to further reduce unwanted
traffic. Therefore, it is not uncommon to see children
and families enjoying a walk or riding bikes along
the tree shaded roads and paths.

Personal
retreat
Most of the campsites offer full access for RV's, campers
and trailers. You may also book your site for nearly
any time period, one day or more. Many people rent sites
a month at a time once they see the natural beauty and
experience the relaxed atmosphere the campgrounds have
to offer. This is an ultra affordable way of having
your own little "lake retreat". |
